Erin had an Acute Hypoxic Ischemic Event when she was just DAYS OLD that resulted in total injury to her occipital lobe and other portions of her brain. She has Cortical Vision Impairment and will have to learn to live as a blind person.

Recently she has been diagnosed with Infantile Spasms, that further challenge her on a daily basis. The doctors question whether she'll ever be able to walk or talk, but her family believes in her!
